Sleepwalkers International Short Film Festival - Call For Entries!

“Short films are not inferior, just different.” Jane Campion


The 16th edition of the Sleepwalkers Student and Short Film Festival - held at the Baltic Film and Media School in Tallinn, Estonia 17th-21st  November 2015 – will bring audiences and industry alike a selection of the very best student and professional shorts from across the world. 


With four competitions, plus special programmes and retrospectives, Sleepwalkers are currently looking for the most exciting short films to be submitted to the festival. Whether you’re a debut director or a veteran of the short film world, we’re looking to see your films: we can also accept rough cuts for consideration.


All the information about how to submit can be found , so  make sure that you send your film in ASAP for the possibility to be part of the 16th edition of Sleepwalkers.



Please note. Sleepwalkers DO NOT accept animation films. If you wish to submit an animation film, please submit to our sister festival

International Short Film Competition programme


• short and medium length (-45 min);

• premiered after 1 January, 2014;

• in original language with English subtitles or in English;

International Student Film Competition programme

• short and medium length (-45 min);

• film of any genre directed by film/media student;

• premiered after 1 January, 2014;

Baltic Sea Short Film Competition Programme

• short and medium length (-45 min);

• film of any genre directed by film professional from Baltic Sea region (Denmark, Estonia, Latvia,

Finland, Germany, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, and Sweden);

• premiered after 1 January, 2014;

• in original language with English subtitles or in English;
