Tallinn University and Estonian government have initiated various scholarship schemes in order to support international students who are interested in studying or are already studying at Tallinn University. Please choose suitable section according to your study interest and background.

 

Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s scholarship (AISS programme)

The purpose of the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s scholarship is to support and acknowledge students who demonstrate excellence in studies and support students in executing master studies in the program of Artificial Intelligence for Sustainable Societies (AISS). The scholarship shall be granted on the basis of the admission exam results.

The scholarship is meant to cover insurance, travelling costs related to the mobility scheme, housing, and food.

Students who have granted the scholarship do not have to pay the tuition fee.

Applicants interested in receiving the scholarship have to mark their wish in the checkbox which can be found in application form.

AISS admissions are open from 02.12.2025 to 02.02.2026.

Monthly study allowances     

Tallinn University's study allowances and scholarships.

 This section includes needs-based study allowance, need-based special allowances and doctoral allowance (for doctoral students who are matriculated before the academic year 2022/2023).
Estonian Governmental Scholarships     

The scholarships are 1) for undergraduate studies in the fields related to Estonian language and culture; 2) for MA and PhD studies; 3) for participation in summer and winter schools; 4) mobility grants for researchers and academic staff.

A 50–100% tuition fee discount for full-time student to study successfully and to finish the curriculum in a nominal study period. Tuition fee discounts can be applied for starting from the second semester.

Ukrainian Students: 

Eligible for a 40% discount for the nominal duration of their studies, provided they are enrolled full-time and maintain a minimum weighted average grade of 4.0. 

International Students:

10% tuition fee discount for the first semester is available to the top three candidates, determined by their entrance examination results.
