Applied Research and Development Competition 2024
Tallinn University's Applied Research and Development Competition is now open. The competition is organized by Tallinn University in cooperation with Tallinn Strategy Center.
All members of the university, including alumni, can send works with their applied output (e.g. research, development project, student thesis) to the competition.
What conditions must the competition work meet?
1) It is a research or development work, which can be a study, development project, commissioned work, student's thesis, other work prepared during studies;
2) the result of the work is actually applied in the business sector (including social entrepreneurship);
3) the work was completed between September 1, 2023 and August 31, 2024.
The deadline for submitting works is September 6, 2024.
The prize is 1000 euros and an invitation to a gala evening organized by the city of Tallinn.
The winning work is selected by a committee, which includes representatives of TLU, Tallinn Strategy Center and the business sector. The awarding of the author(s) of the winning work will take place at the annual Tallinn Entrepreneurship Day gala event organized by the city of Tallinn.
In order to submit works to the competition, a completed form (see appendix to the statute) must be sent to the e-mail address teaduskorraldus@tlu.ee by September 6, 2024 at the latest (email titel "Konkurss"). The e-mail addressees must include the e-mail addresses of all the authors of the competition work.
