At the CI teacher’s regular meeting on April 16, 2015, Chinese teachers had a seminar on teaching Chinese to Estonian students, a talk led by Ms Wang Yalei who is to terminate her three-year term as a Chinese teacher by Hanban. Ms Wang has been one of the most populous Chinese teachers in the past three years and before she goes back to China, she has much to talk by her experiences here at Tallin University. She shared her experience in teaching Chinese to other language speakers and also put some constructive suggestions for evening classes. Unfortunately she will leave with some regret that is she had no chance to teach her students from beginning level to a higher levels as she said at the end of the seminar, which demonstrated her great passion to the Chinese language teaching here at Tallinn University.

    Yalei is a helpful teacher to the students and her colleagues as well. At the absence of the former Chinese Director, much of the duties the Chinese Director takes was shouldered by her without any hesitation or complaint to the duties themsleves.  CI at Tallinn University highly appreciates her contribution.
