Our guest is Professor Jaan Valsiner, who will give a lecture entitled “The Semiosphere from the Perspective of Cultural Psychology”. At the heart of Professor Valsiner's research is the relationship between the human mind and culture and understanding the process of change in complex sign systems used by humans. Since 2013, he has been working as a professor of cultural psychology at Aalborg University in Denmark. He is also an Honorary Doctor of Tallinn University (since 2008). This autumn semester, Valsiner has been working as a visiting professor of the University of Tartu.

The lecture will be in English and will take place on Wednesday 8th of December at 14:15 in Astra building of Tallinn University, room A-325. Everyone is welcome to join!
