On Thursday, February 28 at 16-17.30 you're most welcome to join the doctoral seminar where Kari Yli-Annala will speak about Experimental moving image practice vs mainstream narrative.
The seminar takes place in N-416.

In his presentation Kari Yli-Annala argues that experimental film and video art have been often labeled as marginal areas in the more mainstream histories of film.
Experimental moving image practices are fundamental in understanding moving image.
Is the dichotomy between experimental and mainstream sometimes preventing us to see the true history of cinema and all the possibilities of cinema?
