An Agora that focuses on Youth Subcultures will be held in the atrium of
Tallinn University (TU Mare building, Uus-Sadama 5) on Thursday, 26 April
at 12:00. Estonian sociologists, together with a Canadian
sociologist, Andy Bennett, will present their ideas at the
Agora.Professor Andy Bennett is one of the most well-known contemporary
theoreticians of subcultures. He has researched the subcultures
of youth in Canada, the UK and Australia.The Agora series was created
for establishing a platform for informal discussions of ideas and events
relevant in the society. The atrium is a unique location in Tallinn - an
ideal venue for analysis and debates among free minds with creative ideas.
Everyone can have an opinion, ask a question and speak out at the Agora.For
