The purpose of the events for the Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD) is to get people talking, thinking and learning about digital (web, software, mobile, etc.) accessibility and users with different abilities. We have invited experienced researchers, policy makers, designers, ICT professionals and people with limited abilities to meet and talk about general and local issues with accessibility and Design for All.

Global Accessibility Awareness Days were started as an initiative in the US three years ago and in 2014 more than 30 institutions around the world hosted their own local GAAD events.
