Ulrike Rohn elected President of the European Media Management Association

Ulrike Rohn, Visiting Professor of Media Economics and Management at Tallinn University, was elected President of the European Media Management Association (emma).

Ulrike Rohn, Visiting Professor of Media Economics and Management at Tallinn University, was elected President of the European Media Management Association (emma). 

Emma is the most established and influential academic association globally in the field of media management. As an international not-for-profit academic organization it supports advancement  in media management research, scholarship and practice throughout Europe and around the world.

The elections took place during the annual conference of emma in Porto, Portugal, from June 2-4. Ulrike Rohn succeeds Gregory Ferrell Lowe from University of Tampere in Finland as President whom she served as Deputy President since 2014. The newly elected Executive Board, which Ulrike will lead, includes scholars from University of Navarra (Spain), University of Tampere (Finland), J枚nk枚ping University (Sweden), University of Westminster, (UK), Jade University (Germany), University of Ghent (Belgium) and University of Groningen (Netherlands).

Ulrike Rohn is a Visiting Professor of Media Economics and Management at Tallinn University, Baltic Film, Media, Arts and Communication School (BFM) and a board member at TLU Center of Media Innovation and Digital Culture (MEDIT).
