Tallinn University Estonian Institute for Population Studies Elected as a Member of Population Europ

Tallinn University Estonian Institute for Population Studies was elected as
a member of Population Europe, a network of Europe's leading demographic
research centres. The Institute's scholars, Luule Sakkeur and Allan Puur,
have been invited to participate in the work of the network's Council of
Advisors.Population Europe provides comprehensive knowledge, information,
and insights into fundamental demographic trends and divergent population
developments. This expertise is vital in understanding the political,
social, and economic developments of Europe in the 21st century.The Council
of Advisors, consisting of over 100 population experts, gives support in
preparing reports on policy-relevant topics and delivering scientific
briefings for policy-makers and policy analysts.The Information Centre
coordinates the dissemination of demographic facts and findings to a broad
