The closing conference of the Global Digital Human Rights Network (GDHRNet) explores theoretical and practical challenges of human rights protection in the digital domain. Are human rights illusory or real in the internet? Are there promises which outweigh threats? These and many other topics will be discussed through presentations and panel discussions by distinguished network members and prominent guests, among them the Estonian Minister of Justice and Digital Affairs Liisa Pakosta, British human rights advocate Bill Bowring, and EU Fundamental Rights Agency’s Head of Justice, Digital and Migration Unit Joanna Goodey.
