Terje Väljataga, a candidate for the positions of Senior research fellow on New Learning Environments and Technologies (collaborative, problem-based and creative learning) and Senior research fellow on New Learning Environments and Technologies (planning and orchestration of learning), will hold her Venia Legendi “In search for a new learning paradigm in the midst of digital transformation”. In the lecture, she will give an overview of her earlier work in the field ofeducational technology and describe her vision for learning environment and digital didactics research within the CEITER project.

Bio:
Terje Väljataga received her PhD from Tampere University of Technology in 2011 for her research in the changes of self-regulated learning in higher education in personal web-based learning environments. Her research and studies have hitherto been focused on the design and usability of web-based learning environments, digital textbooks and self-regulated learning with the aid of digital tools. She has been a researcher since 2005 and senior researcher since 2012 at the Tallinn University Centre for Educational Technology.
