Sergei Sosnovski, a candidate for the position of Senior research fellow on New Learning Environments and Technologies (planning and orchestration of learning), will hold his Venia Legendi “Scaling up Adaptive Educational Systems”.

Abstract:
Adaptive Education has been a successful field of research that yielded a broad range of empirically validated practical results. In this talk, I will focus on arguably the most important problem in the field of Adaptive Educational Systems, the problem that largely impedes their transition from research instruments to useful teachers' and learners' tools. I will present an original approach aimed at tackling this problem and will demonstrate some outcomes of my research in this area.
