What is concept mapping method ?
It is a graphic method to represent thoughts using words, symbols, colours
and pictures. To construct a concept map all above mentioned means should
be connected to form sentences. The method is based on Ausubel’s thinking
theory and follows constructive learning theory. The method was first used
by Joseph D. Novak, who is one of the key presenters at the conference.
During the last decade concept mapping has become very popular at school
where it can be used as a means both for teaching and testing.
