The Open Philosophy Seminar is delighted to host a seminar
“Where, when, and what is ‘the West’? The history of an idea.” by Prof. Georgios Varouxakis (Queen Mary University of London). Prof. Varouxakis is a Co-director of QMUL Centre for the Study of the History of Political Thought. He is the author of Liberty Abroad: J. S. Mill on International Relations (CUP, 2013) and numerous other books and articles on the intellectual history of liberalism, nationalism, cosmopolitanism. Read more on:
