Professor Douglas Robinson, one of the most interesting scholars in the field of translation theory in the past decade, will give a public lecture at Tallinn University on 8 July 2013. Professor Robinson focuses on the performative aspect of translating and has published many monographs since the 1990s where numerous translation examples illustrate his theoretical discussions.

The lecture will be followed by an intensive course entitled "Translation Process: Integrating Perspectives". The Graduate School of Culture Studies and Arts has organized the course.
