Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Tallinn University and Asian Research Centre in Estonia are pleased to invite You to public lecture of Deputy Foreign Minister of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, H.E. Nasir Ahmad Andsha:

“The challenges of Afghanistan today and a vision for future”

In the last decades, Afghanistan has experienced war and instabilities. Currently, the government of Afghanistan together with President Ashraf Ghan has complex tasks to tackle. After the end of NATO’s mission in 2014, the Taliban has intensified their fight against the government. The economy of Afghanistan is facing difficulties and many Afghans have had to flee the country. In July, in NATO Summit in Warsaw and in October in Afghanistan Conference in Brussels, there will be discussions about how to continue supporting Afghanistan.

The Afghanistan Deputy Foreign Minister H.E. Nasir Ahmad Andisha is visiting Estonia, and will give a public lecture at Tallinn University on 24^th of May on the topic “The challenges of Afghanistan today and a vision for future”.

H.E. Nasir Andisha has previously worked in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan and as an Ambassador to the Commonwealth of Australia, New Zealand and the Republic of Fiji.

He has a Master’s degree in International Affairs at Texas A&M University, an Advanced Security Studies Diploma in Hawaii, and PhD from the Asia Pacific College of Diplomacy at the Australian National University in Canberra.

H.E. Nasir Ahmad Andisha’s lecture is public and open for everybody.
