Raphaël Gianelli-Meriano, a photographer and director, will deliver a
public lecture entitled "Photographing and Filming in Estonia: a Process in
Motion" on Monday, 5 November at 10:00. The lecture, which is open to the
public and will be delivered in English, will be held in the auditorium
N207 (Nova building).Raphaël Gianelli-Meriano is well known both as a
photographer and a director. Much of his work is related to Estonia. He is
known for his documentaries featuring Priit Pärn and Jaan Kaplinski and in
2005 he published a photo study "About Estonia". Some of
Gianelli-Meriano’s other pursuits include producing albums of Estonian
musicians in France.Gianelli-Meriano's exhibition "My Estonian Summers"
includes photos, music and videos that provide an overview of the ten years
that the author has spent in Estonia.His exhibition will remain open in the
atrium of Tallinn University Mare building until 23 November.For further
