Maarja Kobin, a doctoral student at the Tallinn University Institute of International and Social Studies, will defend her PhD thesis entitled „Drinking Culture Among Young Estonian Adults: Perceptions of the 'Limit' and Mechanisms to Stay 'Within-Limits". Her defence will take place in auditorium M213 on Wednesday, 6 November at 10 a.m.

The supervisors of the thesis are Professor Airi-Alina Allaste, Tallinn University, and Profesor Betsy Thorn, Middlesex University.

The opponents of the thesis are Jacek Moskalewicz, Research Fellow from the Warsaw Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology, and Richard de Visser, Senior Research Fellow from Sussex University.
