The public defence of TU Institute of Fine Arts doctoral student Tõnis
Liibek`s PhD thesis “Photography Culture in Estonia between
1839-1895” will take place on Thursday, December 16 at 10:00 at Lai
street 13, room L-208 (TU Institute of Fine Arts building). The
supervisor of the thesis is Raimo Pullat, professor emeritus at TU
Institute of Fine Arts. The opponents of the thesis are Krista Kodres,
professor at the Estonian Academy of Sciences, Institute of Art
History, and Rein Loodus (retired), senior research fellow at the
Estonian Academy of Science, Institute of History.The analytical overview
