Marion Pajumets, a doctoral student at the Tallinn University Institute of
International and Social Studies, will defend her PhD thesis entitled
"Post-Socialist Masculinities, Identity Work, and Social Change: An
Analysis of Discursive (Re)Constructions of Gender Identity in Novel Social
Situations". Her defence will take place in the auditorium M213 (Mare
building, Uus-Sadama 5) on Friday, 14 December at 14:00.The supervisors of
the thesis are Professor Jeff Hearn, Hanken School of Economics, and Leeni
Hansson, Senior Researcher at Tallinn University.The opponents of the
thesis are Raili Marling, Associate Professor at the University of Tartu,
