The opening ceremony for the 2012/2013 academic year of Tallinn University
will be held in the Ceremony Hall of Tallinn University (TU Terra building,
Narva Rd 25) on 3 September at 12:00.Professor Tiit Land, Rector of Tallinn
University, and Dmitri Moskovtsev, from Tallinn University Student Body
Council, will greet the students and teachers at the opening ceremony.The
following new professors who were elected during the past year will be
introduced at the ceremony:Tiina Lokk, Professor of Film ArtsPatrick
Laviolette, Professor of AnthropologyAiri Liimets, Professor of Educational
Philosophy and SociologyKrista Loogma, Professor of Vocational
EducationLeif Kalev, Professor of State TheoryTiina Selke, Professor of
Music Teaching MethodologyT玫nu Laas, Professor of Applied PhysicsThey will
receive their professor's scarves during the ceremony.The ceremony will be
