TU trains future school leaders as part of an international programme
Tallinn University trains and develops the knowledge and attitude of Estonian, Dutch and Swiss school leaders as part of an international future school programme this week.Tallinn University Centre for Innovation in Education joined the international Future School programme in the beginning of this year. Over the course of 10 months, in collaboration with schools from the Netherlands and Switzerland, a training for 15 Estonian school leaders will take place, stemming from the challenges of the Organisation for Economic C.o-operation and Development.

Tallinn University joined the international Future School programme in the beginning of this year. Over the course of 10 months, in collaboration with schools from the Netherlands and Switzerland, a training for 15 Estonian school leaders will take place, stemming from the challenges of the Organisation for Economic C.o-operation and Development.
The Estonian programme manager for „Education4Future“ Klemen Slabina said that the Dutch Hogeschool van Amsterdam and the Swiss Pädagogishe Hochschule Zürich with the collaborator Schulamt Fürstentum Liechtenstein have been conducting a similar additional training programme since 2012.
The programme consists of classes, seminars, school visits and practical school development project. There are two local modules in the programme, intended only for the Estonian participants, and three international modules that join the study groups from all countries.
TU Centre for Innovation in Education offers the "Future School" programme for a diverse and colorful group of 15 people. 50 people in total will participate in the 10-month-programme from four different countries.
The Future School programme is funded by the Estonian Ministry of Education and Research and Tallinn City Council.
