Tiit Land was inaugurated

On 16 May, Professor Tiit Land was inaugurated as the new Rector of Tallinn University. Professor Land gave his oath of office and delivered his inaugural address. He received the rector's chain from the President of the Republic of Estonia, Toomas Hendrik Ilves. Speeches were held by the President of the Estonian Academy of Sciences Tarmo Soomere, the Minister of Education and Research J眉rgen Ligi, and the head of the Tallinn University Student Union Marlen Ulrika Elisabet Kakkori.

On 16 May, Professor Tiit Land was inaugurated as the new Rector of Tallinn University.

Tiit Land was elected as Rector of Tallinn University by the electoral body on 8 February 2016. His second term as the Rector of Tallinn University started on 15 May 2016 and lasts for five years.
