Tallinn University Commences Teaching Law in Helsinki

The Tallinn University Law School will commence teaching Law in Helsinki
this autumn. Both the BA level in Law and the MA level in International
Business Law will be offered."The international curricula taught by the Law
School have attracted much attention and half the students studying these
curricula are citizens of Finland. It seemed appropriate therefore, to
establish one group in both study levels in Helsinki," said Priit Reiska,
Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs at Tallinn University.Professor Rein
M眉llerson, President of the Tallinn University Law School, explained "The
expansion of studies in the English language is a result of
internationalization of higher education and a closer cooperation between
the universities in Tallinn and Helsinki. Because we are committed to
provide better learning opportunities for those interested in studying law,
we will commence teaching in Helsinki as well as in Tallinn. Our curricula
have been adapted to satisfy the needs of this new target group - for
example, we have added a module of Finnish law."Admission to both Bachelor
and Master studies has already begun!Further information about the
curricula taught in Helsinki is available at http://law.tlu.eeTallinn
