Record-breaking Number of Students Enrol in Online Estonian Course at Tallinn University
Tallinn University’s online Estonian language course started a new
session with 25 students – the largest enrolment in the course’s
three-year history.Conducted entirely through the Internet, the course is
taught at four different levels and has four 10-week sessions per year.
Weekly online 'mini-group' chats and monthly individual classes by
telephone give the course an active and engaging study
environment.Participants attending come from almost all continents – from
as far away as Japan, Australia, Argentina, Canada and the USA. Due to the
great interest and enthusiasm of students, the course aslo includes a
summer session that begins in June. The course was designed within the
framework of the BeSt Programme and is taught by an experienced Estonian
language teacher and textbook author Mall Pesti.For further information
