Parking Lot Closures and New Arrangements effective November 1st
Due to the construction work starting from November 1st, the parking lot
between Silva and Terra buildings will be closed. The entrance from Narva
Road to the inner courtyard will also be closed and the construction area
will be enclosed with a fence and gate.Experience has shown that there
is a higher demand for parking space in the first part of the week and
this may mean that it will be difficult to find a parking space
during this time.Guido Grünberg, Head of the Service Department, requests
that you park only in free spaces which are available in other open
parking areas. Parking is NOT allowed in unmarked parking areas, even
if there are no free spaces available elsewhere. If there are no free
spaces, you must leave the TU parking areas and find a parking space in
another location. The nearest parking lots are near the Mare building in
Uus-Sadama 7, Uus-Sadama 11 (AS Ãœhisteenused), Tuukri 1B (Europark) and
Petrooleumi 11 (belongs to the City Centre parking area). All the parking
lots near the university are Pay & Park and are unsupervised. Note that
due to the increased usage, there is an increased chance of theft. As a
result of these restrictions, the Service Department advises all staff and
students to use public transport.
