Following on from the successful funding of Viewfinder, an Erasmus+ Joint Master of Arts in Cinematography, colleagues from IADT, SZFE and BFM met in Estonia this past week.

This is the third time the team have met in Tallinn where intensive planning and curriculum meetings took place in advance of the programme launching in September 2017. During these sessions the consortium worked in detail on validation, module alignment, budget, marketing, academic and management staffing.

Applications are now open for this two year Joint Master of Arts and some excellent scholarships are available to superb EU and non-EU candidates.

Further intensive planning meetings will take place in Budapest in February and March. A final planning meeting in planned for the Galway Film Fleadh in Ireland where it is proposed then final exams and exhibition of Viewfinder will take place each year.

Viewfinder was made possible by Erasmus+ and the Tempus Foundation who provided funding under the 3 Layers of Telling a Story project, a multi-partner development process lead by SZFE.

The consortium are the University of Theatre and Film Arts, Budapest (SZFE), the National Film School at the Institute of Art, Design and Technology Dun Laoghaire, Dublin (IADT) and the Baltic Film, Media, Arts and Communication School? at Tallinn University (BFM)."
