The documentary about Estonians living in Pechory has already received many awards. The film started its journey to success at the Sleepwalkers short film festival, where it first won the national competition programme and afterward was declared the overall winner of the festival.

To Light is a poetic film about a mother and son who decided to stay behind when the Estonian town Pechora became the Russian town Pechora. After 70 years there is hardly anything Estonian left in the town. Linda and Mart Kallas try to maintain contact with their homeland but this is no cure for loneliness.
