The Institute of Communication Begins Cooperation with Russian Universities

The Tallinn University Institute of Communication has started cooperation
with a number of Russian universities in order to create joint curricula
and programmes. The main objective of this initiative is to offer students
speaking Estonian and Russian an opportunity to acquire a master's degree
in journalism, communication, public relations and advertising.The studies,
offered in English and Russian, will take place in both Estonia and
Russia.At the moment, the Institute of Communication has started preparing
three master's programmes:1. Communication Management (2012–2015) in
cooperation with the Higher School of Economics in Moscow and Don State
Technical University,2. International Communication Management
(2013–2015) in cooperation with the Ural Federal University named after
the first President of Russia, B.N. Yeltsin, 3. International Journalism
(2014–2016) in cooperation with the Russian State University for the
Humanities.Cooperation agreements were signed in May and June 2012.For
