HUMERIA gives a chance to study and teach in the Eastern Neighbouring countries
All Tallinn University students and staff can apply for the HUMERIA scholarship (part of the Erasmus Mundus programme) to study and teach abroad. The main goal of the project is to improve cooperation in humanities, education, international relations, art and design, as well as developing collaboration in research in general.The first call for applications is now open from 19 December 2013 until 24 February 2014. HUMERIA gives students a chance to study and academic staff to teach in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine and Belarus. The HUMERIA scholarships include travel expenses, monthly allowance for living, health and travel insurance. The allowance for bachelor's and master's degree students is 1000€ per month, for doctoral students 1500€ per month, for postdoctoral students 1800€ per month and for employees 2500€ per month. Bachelor's degree students would have to have finished their first year to apply for the mobility programme.

HUMERIA is an Erasmus Mundus project that offers granted mobility between EU and ENPI countries (Ukraine, Belarus, Moldavia, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan).
Mission
The project HUMERIA aims at stimulating institutional cooperation and collaboration among partner members and, in particular, decision and policy-makers on strategies to enhance internationalization between EU and Eastern Neighbourhood countries’ higher education institutions in the fields of Humanities, Education, Regional and International Relations, Arts and Design.
Description
- HUMERIA offers mobility grants for students (BA, MA, PhD, Post-Doc) as well as academic and administrative staff for mobility between EU and ENPI countries (Ukraine, Belarus, Moldavia, Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan).
- HUMERIA is a cooperation project between higher education institutions in Europe and Eastern Neighbouring countries aiming to stimulate institutional cooperation and collaboration among partners, decision and policy-makers to enhance internationalization.
- HUMERIA provides scholarships to students, researchers and staff in the fields of Humanities, Education, Research, International relations and Arts. The grantees must fulfill the eligibility criteria of the Erasmus Mundus programme.
- HUMERIA is financed by the support of Erasmus Mundus programme of the European Union.
Erasmus Mundus aims to enhance quality in higher education through scholarships and academic cooperation between Europe and the rest of the world.
Erasmus Mundus Action 2 programme is a cooperation and mobility scheme in the area of higher education cooperation launched by Europe Aid cooperation Office and implemented by the Executive Agency Education, Audiovisual and Culture (EACEA).
The main objective of the programme is to help improve and enhance career prospects of students and to achieve better intercultural understanding and mutual enrichment between the European Union and third countries.
