Global Ranking of Academic Subjects (GRAS), compiled by Shanghai Ranking Consultancy, confirms that the field of educational sciences at Tallinn University is internationally distinguished. The ranking places Tallinn University's educational sciences among the top 301-400 out of thousands of other subjects.

GRAS rankings utilize various objective academic indicators and third-party data to measure the performance of world universities in specific subjects, including research output, research impact, international collaboration, research quality, and international academic awards.
Tallinn University stands out with its high-quality , and several specializations are popular among prospective students. This achievement is evident from the fact that this year, compared to the previous year, there was a 25% increase in the number of individuals wishing to enroll in teacher training programs.
According to Tiia 脮un, the Director of the Institute of Educational Sciences at Tallinn University, the ranking outcome is a significant achievement for the entire university. "The high position in the field of education is international recognition of the research activities, research collaborations, and high-level publications of our educational researchers," stated 脮un.
