Cooperation Agreements with Secondary Schools
A Cooperation Agreement between Prof. Rein Raud, the Rector of Tallinn
University, and Kaidor Damberg, the Head of Mustamäe Gymnasium, was signed
on March 24. The agreement will enable students from Mustamäe Gymnasium to
study Chinese as an elective subject starting from the next school year.
The Tallinn University Confucius Institute will provide assistance for the
new teacher of Chinese to travel to Estonia as well as for the purchase of
necessary study materials.A Cooperation Agreement between Priit Reiska, the
Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs at Tallinn University, and Leelo Tiisvelt,
the Head of Viimsi Secondary School, will be signed on Thursday, March 31.
The agreement aims to improve the quality of secondary education by giving
teachers and students access to the technical facilities of the university.
This will greatly enhance the possibilities for studies at Viimsi Secondary
School, and increase the popularity of academic education, science and the
teaching profession in Estonia.
