A Communications Magazine Launched in Cooperation with Tallinn University Institute of Communication
In September 2012, Kaja communications magazine was launched in Estonia.
The magazine is published by Estonia’s leading business paper, Äripäev,
in cooperation with the Tallinn University Institute of Communication. The
magazine provides self-teaching material for managers, communications
managers, HR managers, marketing managers and every other specialist
involved or interested in the field of communications. "Managers and top
specialists of all specialities can no longer cope without knowledge in the
field of communications. Communications is an industry characterised by
rapid development and, apart from knowledge acquired through formal
education, one has to remain aware of developments and trends in the field
of communications to remain successful,” states the Editor-in-Chief of
the magazine, Annela Laaneots, who has ten years' experience as a PR
manager. “Experts from both Estonia and abroad will share their knowledge
and experiences.” Every new issue of the magazine will contain a theme
that will focus on a particular area in the field of communications. The
first issue deals with innovation communication. The cover photo for the
first issue is of Piret Mürk-Dubout, Vice President of TeliaSonera, who
works in Stockholm and is one of the most successful Estonians in
communications. Various experts will impart their knowledge on how to
communicate with the media and how to inform the public in situations where
traditional notification channels and marketing efforts fail to work. The
magazine will also include information about the current situation in the
field of communications: news, study results, trends, changes and
developments that take place both in Estonia and all over the world. The
magazine is published by Äripäev business paper in co-operation with the
