Around 3500 applications have been submitted to Tallinn University in the first three days of admission.
As of today morning, around 3500 applications have been submitted for admission in Tallinn University.
First three days of admission show that the applicants for Bachelor’s program are mostly interested in Law (264 applications), Psychology (220) and Political Science (177). The most popular specialities amongs Master’s applicants are Consultant in Special Education (70 applications), Social Pedagogics and Child Protection (51) and Social Work (46).
Applications and documents for admission in Tallinn University can be submitted over the online system and in the University campus on July 3-8. The week-long period of entrance examinations starts on July 11. The rank lists will be published by July 25 the latest.
This summer, 2500 students will be admitted to study in Tallinn University tuition-free. This year’s admittance numbers are based on last years’ graduation statistics: the specialities with the most graduates get to accept more applicants this year.
Tuition-free studying does not apply on foreign curriculums – the tuition fee will remain the same for most of those in the new higher education system. However, in order to motivate the students of foreign curricula more, Tallinn University applies a new scholarship system. With the new system, tuition fees for many foreign students will decrease close to 20%.
