This international workshop entitled “Linking Molecular Information to
Environmental Sciences” will explore topics and identify future research
directions related to molecular techniques and their applications in the
environmental sciences, such as Ecology, Palaeoecology, Biological
conservation and Biogeography. Major Topics for Discussion:• New
insights from DNA analysis into Ecology, Biogeography and Palaeoecology•
Domestic and international collaborations of interdisciplinary research
projectsTarget Audience:This workshop will be of particular interest to
Ph.D. students, postdoctoral students and researchers from the different
universities in Estonia.Among the workshop leaders are: Mary Edwards (UK),
Paul Gugger (USA), Bent vad Odgaard (Denmark), Akira Osawa (Japan), Ben
Smith (Sweden) and many researchers from Estonia (Mihkel Kangur, Meelis
Pärtel, Sandra Zetterström Fernaeus, Shinya Sugita, Aveliina Helm, Inga
Hiiesalu, Maarja Öpik). The workshop will be held on Monday, October 25,
from 10.00–18.00 in Room T-324 (Terra Building) Tallinn University, Narva
