Learning Layers project is the winner of the VET Research Excellence Award
As part of the European Vocational Skills Week 2018, the European Commission and the European Research Network on Vocational Education and Training (VETNET) have recognised the Learning Layers project (coordinated by Tallinn University) for its excellence in research in VET (Vocational Education and Training).

The scientific coordinator of the is Tobias Ley, who works at Tallinn University as a professor of Learning Analytics and Educational Innovation.
The project was first selected for the shortlist by an expert commission, and later won a public online voting.
Tobias Ley said that this is a great achievement for the project and he is also very happy that this award recognises the impact the project has made well beyond research.
