We would like to invite you to a workshop designed to improve the impact of your research and to explain how to target larger competitive international funding sources successfully. This training is open to all researchers, early-career researchers are particularly encouraged to attend.

The workshop will be led by Jussi Laine, professor of multidisciplinary border studies at the Karelian Institute of the University of Eastern Finland. He has managed several large-scale international research consortia within the EU framework (including Horizon 2020 and Europe) and other competitive international programs, and has served in numerous research evaluation committees. He has organised stakeholder interaction and co-creation action as part of the scientific research and worked with a clear goal of policy impact while collaborating with a broad variety of stakeholders.

This workshop is funded by the Eur-Asian Border Lab (Horizon Europe Twinning programme)
