On August 28, 2020, at 11 o'clock Sander Paekivi from the School of Natural Sciences and Health will defend the doctoral thesis  "Influence of memory on the spike generation for diffusion models of neurons".

Public defence will take place in Tallinn University hall M648.

Supervisors are Professor Emeritus Romi Mankin from Tallinn University and Associate Professor Astrid Rekker from Tallinn University.

Opponents are Professor Emeritus  and Visiting Professor Teet Örd from the University of Tartu and Professor Michail D. Todorov from the Technical University of Sofia.
