iCal calendarA PhD is very different from a Master's, and what worked for previous studies may not work the same way PhD and conducting research. From this study year the curricula of Tallinn University have been modified and the principles for the evaluation criteria for attestation have also been changed. To facilitate the integration of newly matriculated doctoral students, we will discuss the following topics: * How to prepare a study and research plan for the first year and for the entire period of studies? * What should a doctoral student-junior researcher take into account when calculating his/her workload? * What kind of possibilities are related to the statuses of: - junior research fellow - doctoral student - knowledge transfer-doctoral fellow? * Which mobility grants can be applied for at the university and which ones outside the university? * Whom is the joint doctoral school of Estonian universities intended for? We invite the first year PhD students to an informational briefing on Wednesday, September 4 at 4 pm in room M649. Registration until 3.09.2024.
