iCal calendarWe will be exploring how to use the tools available to us as visual storytellers to design believable, rich props and environments that enhance our audience's experience. Giving examples from my experience as a concept artist and art director in the entertainment industry, I will be identifying the core tools we have at our disposal, how they translate to real-world design decisions, and how they fit into the wider production pipeline.
Duncan Halleck is a concept artist, illustrator, and 3D generalist who has worked for film, videogames, and print media. He is Art Director at Tesseract Studios, a concept design studio based in Tallinn that specializes in world building and visual storytelling.
