On September 19, 2023 at 10.00 David Navidad Maeso from the School of Natural Sciences and Health will defend the doctoral thesis  "Finite-range competition and natural selection in dispersal-structured populations".

Supervisors are Senior Researcher Els Heinsalu from National Institute of Chemical Physics and Biophysics; Senior Researcher Marco Patriarca from National Institute of Chemical Physics and Biophysics and Associate Professor  Astrid Rekker from Tallinn University.

Opponents are Tenured Full Professor Jaan Kalda from the Tallinn University of Technology and Young Investigator Group Leader Ricardo Martínez-García from Center for Advanced Systems Understanding.
