On October 8, TU Estonian Institute of Humanities opened a new exhibition
area located in the 3rd floor corridor of the Mare building (Uus-Sadama
5). The first exhibition entitled "The Central Asian Portrait" is a
series of photographs from the annual travels of the Estonian
Lepidopterologist Club. The photographs are of people and nature and were
taken between 2002–2010 in Kasakhztan, Uzbekistan and Kirghiztan by
Aleksander Pototski. The curator of the exhibition is Kristina Kivirand a
student in the EIH Cultural Theory Master’s programme. The current
exhibition will remain on display until December 8. The EIH Photogallery
will then continue the photoexhibition featuring other artists and students
from the university.
