Ceremony to Celebrate the 6th Anniversary of Tallinn University

Tallinn University will celebrate its 6th anniversary on Friday, March 18.
The occasion will be marked by a special ceremony, which will begin at
14:00 in the ceremony hall of Tallinn University (TU Silva building, Narva
25).There are a number of new professors at Tallinn University. Erik Terk,
Tiina Ann Kirss, Timo Tobias Ley and Tero Henrik Autio, were all elected
during the past year and they will be introduced and receive their
professor's scarves during the ceremony. Orders of Tallinn University,
awards for the laureates of the Tallinn University Publications Competition
and the Tallinn University Literary Award Competition as well as prizes for
the most enterprising scientist and institute will also be part of the
ceremony.The ceremony will be followed by setting the cornerstone for the
rebuilding and extension of TU Silva building on Narva Road 27/29 at
15:00.At 20:00 everyone is welcome to join the spring party in the atrium
of TU Mare building (Uus-Sadama 5).
