Ceremony Celebrating the Republic of Estonia's 98th Independence Day

iCal calendarOn Tuesday, February 23rd, everyone is invited to the Tallinn University Ceremonial Hall to celebrate the 98th anniversary of the Republic of Estonia's independence. Rector professor Tiit Land, senior research fellow Marju K玫ivupuu, and a guest speaker will hold speeches.
During the ceremony Tallinn University will congratulate members of the university who have received national awards within the past year.
The Tallinn University Symphony Orchestra string ensemble, and the Seto choir will perform at the ceremony. There will be Seto snacks.
You are also welcome to attend other anniversary events:
- February 23 at 11:00 - Cap ceremony at Tallinn Hall (M-218): 100 best freshmen will receive school caps.
- February 23 at 20:00 - The traditional Independence Day film night: Held in the Nova building, some of the latest Estonian films with English subtitles will keep you up until the morning. See the event on .
- February 24 at 06:00 - Traditional march from TU to Toompea: Tallinn University students and staff march from the campus to the Parliament courtyard to attend the traditional raising of the flag.
