What's it Like in BFM?

Last week the high school pupils were given a chance to come out of their classrooms into the corridors of the university and participate in lectures. Interest to see what kind of courses are given in BFM was big and about 100 students visited our school. The most popular turned out to be film studies. Nearly 30 youngsters took part in lectures together with film students. The day started with a tour around BFM and they got to see film pavilion, TV studio, sound studios and got to know many other possibilities that lie here. After that they joined Film World Historycourse and watched a very important movie in film history “The Last Picture Show”. Next lecture was given by Elen Lotman, who is also the head of Film studies. All pupils were divided into groups, where they analyzed different scenes from the movies. Young trainees were very impressed and surprised how much work a little scene actually needs. It was a great day and youngsters really liked BFM. BFM blog
