Baltic Pitching Forum 2016

Baltic Pitching Forum is a unique platform of networking and bringing the newest short film projects from the Baltics into the spotlight. This Forum creates a space where film directors and producers can present their short film projects in order to attract active European producers, TV commissioners, fund representatives, VoD programmers and distributors.
The Baltic Pitching Forum consists of one-day pitching training and one-day pitching sessions of the selected projects alongside one-to-one meetings with film professionals from all over Europe. One of the goals of the Forum is to facilitate interaction, cooperation and co-production between short filmmakers from Baltics and the rest of Europe.
This year, judging the project were Laurent Crouzeix (Co-Executive Director of the Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival & Market), Jing Haasen (Market Manager at Nordisk Panorama), Wim Vanacker (Head of the Script Department and the Project manager in European Network of Young Cinema), Theo Tsappos (Festival manager at Swedish Film Institute), Sari Volanen (Commissioning editor at YLE Finnish Broadcasting Company), Riho Unt (Scriptwriter, artist and director of animated films at Nukufilm), Valentine Lodato (Co-founder of VODD, a french SVOD platform). The forum moderator was Laurence Boyce (Correspondent for Screen International and the editor of Cineuropa Shorts) and forum trainer Gabriele Brunnenmeyer (Conference cordinator at BLS Film Conference Incontri in Italy).
