9.–11. septembril toimub ÌìÃÀÓ°ÊÓ Ãœlikoolis rahvusvaheline
teaduskonverents „Theorizing Japanese Literature: Memories, Evocations,
Ghosts“. Ettekannetega esinevad külalised Soomest, Itaaliast,
Bulgaariast, Hollandist, Suurbritanniast, USAst ning Jaapanist. Üritus
avatakse 9. septembril kell 17 Mare aatriumis kahe konverentsikülalise
äsja ilmunud teoste esitlusega. Tutvustatakse ÌìÃÀÓ°ÊÓ Ãœlikooli
Kirjastuse uut raamatut, Kimura Saeko „A Brief History of Sexuality in
Premodern Japan“; tekste Fujii Sadakazu kahekeelsest luulevalimikust
„Titt maksab kätte/Akachan no fukushu“ loevad autor ning tõlkija.
Konverentsi töökeelteks on inglise ning jaapani keel. Konverents toimub
