In this part of the seminar, we explore teacher career models/paths in Nordic countries, to gain valuable insights into the intricate dynamics of the teaching profession. We seek answers to the following questions: What level of education is required to work as a teacher (primary teacher vs subject teacher)? What is the career path/ model in this country? How does the movement on the career path take place? How is it supported and how is it related to teacher evaluation and salary policy? What is the role of the teachers' union in influencing these processes?
