Apply for PhD programme in sociology!  Either propose your own theme of plan you thesis proposal in the frames of the international research Project . MapIneq brings together the most prominent researchers in inequalities of opportunities and outcomes in Europe and enables excellent possibilities for international cooperation. The project MapIneq studies the trends and drivers of intergenerational, educational, labour market and health inequalities over the life course during the last decades, and distinguishes between local, regional, national and supranational levels. The project consortium consists of University of Turku (coordinator) let by prof. Jani Erola, The Max Planck Society let by dr. Daniela Vono de Vilhena, WZB Berlin Social Science Center led by prof. Heike Solga ja dr. Jan Heisig, University of Oxford/University of Groningen led by prof. Melinda Mills, UNED led by prof. Fabrizio Bernardi, Stockholm University led by prof. Markus Jantti and Tallinn University led by prof. Marge Unt and prof. Kadri Täht. The last day to submit the required documents is 5th of February 2023. The applicant needs to submit: an application, thesis proposal signed by the prospective supervisor, Curriculum Vitae, copy of a Bachelor’s degree certificate, copy of a Master’s degree certificate, copy of the identification page of passport, a confirmation that the applicant has passed subjects for at least 15 ECTS-s (for example an application of Recognition of Prior Learning or in case there are no credit points to transfer a commission will come together to decide if these can be given based on previous scientific research or the thesis proposal)
